To strengthen team cohesion, enhance leadership, and improve collaboration, Gellec (Gellec Co., Ltd.) held a two-day team-building event for its leadership group from May 24 to 25. With the theme “Resonating in Unity · Advancing with Excellence,” the event combined training and collaborative challenges to help break down barriers, foster trust, and unlock potential among company leaders.

On the morning of May 24, the event kicked off with a themed training session titled “Enhancing the Comprehensive Competence of Outstanding Leaders,” attended by 72 participants. President Xu Feng of Gellec was present at the opening ceremony and delivered a key speech.
President Xu emphasized that the cohesion of the leadership team is the core driving force of corporate development. As the ancient saying goes, “Those united in purpose will prevail.” He noted that this team-building event provided a rare opportunity to break routines, engage in deep dialogue, and build multidimensional trust—trust that would become the lubricant for future cross-functional collaboration and drive the company’s “systematic combat capability” for more efficient cooperation.
Xu encouraged all participants with the words:
“If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.”
He expressed his hope that the trust built during the event would transform into a powerful force in tackling future challenges, helping to write a new chapter in Gellec’s high-quality development journey.
The company invited Mr. Lin Xiao, a well-known expert in management effectiveness, to lead the training. His course was divided into two main sections: innovation management and management improvement, covering topics such as management perspectives, decision-making, team performance, staff development, and execution capabilities.
Managers actively participated in discussions, sharing hands-on experiences in team-building and leadership. The session deepened their understanding of how to improve both personal and team capabilities. Additionally, a workshop tour was arranged, where attendees expressed their intention to apply what they learned in practical settings and to drive progress through action.

In the afternoon, the team traveled to Hushan Hot Spring Resort at the foot of the Taihang Mountains. Surrounded by quaint architecture and tranquil scenery, everyone was quickly immersed in the peaceful atmosphere. After settling in, participants eagerly took to photographing and exploring—some paused to admire the vintage charm of old houses, while others soaked in the resort’s unique hot springs. These captured moments of joy became vivid reflections of camaraderie and lasting memories of team bonding.
As evening fell, a delightful barbecue dinner under the stars brought warmth and excitement to the gathering. The sizzle of grilled meat filled the air as everyone sat around, sharing stories of work and life. Laughter and conversation flowed freely, melting away the pressures of daily work and filling the night with joy.

The following day, the team ventured deeper into the Taihang Mountains, exploring the Huangyadong Scenic Area, a site known for its breathtaking geological formations. Amid towering peaks and dramatic cliffs, the group embarked on a light hike, ascending winding mountain trails surrounded by ancient pines, bizarre rock formations, and cascading waterfalls.
They paused in awe at nature’s grandeur and helped one another climb steep steps—experiencing firsthand the team philosophy that “only by walking in sync can we reach the summit together.”

This team-building activity not only provided a chance to reconnect with nature and rejuvenate the body and mind amidst demanding work, but also served to deepen colleague relationships, strengthen teamwork, and enhance cohesion.
